What We Do

We are a community centre based in Wallasey delivering over twenty projects every week

Sport Support

Belvidere Centre teamed up with BSA Sport Support in 2018 and now we have social badminton, kickabout, Wallasey Redcaps Table Tennis , Boccia Wirral , Ten Pin Bowling, Walk n Talk , Yoga, Zumba and Pool using the centre either as a venue or a social hub. We operate activities all year round including local leagues, regional competitions and inhouse tournaments.

Lunch Club

Belvidere Centre has been delivering monthly lunch clubs for 28 years and we provide a nutritious buffet lunch which raises money for local charities and our play scheme service.

Lonely Arts Club Band

We were formed during lockdown 2020 and we have so far exhibited in a number of local arts events. We meet every Tuesday from 12pm to 4pm for neuro diverse members.

We supply resources and hold our annual exhibition every July at Belvidere Centre

Music & Me

Belvidere Centre runs weekly music themed sessions including mindfulness, dancing and singing. We write songs and poetry and record our own cds . Music is key to our centre and karaoke, music bingo, discos and music quizzes are a regular event on Thursdays

Indoor Pursuits

Indoor Pursuits meet throughout the week between September and April and run quizzes, play board games, bingo, table soccer, pool and do arts and crafts. We meet on Tuesdays form 12pm to 4pm, Wednesdays from 12pm to 8pm. On Thursday evenings our quiz masters from Trivial Trivia test our knowledge 6pm to 8pm

Play Scheme & Youth Clubs

Belvidere Centre is well known for offering a play scheme during the holidays for children from a neuro diverse background. This offers a vital respite service for parents and we provide food and refreshments and lots of fun indoor and outdoor activities. Our Youth Club , 8 to 16 yrs, runs on Monday evenings from 4.30pm and our SAM Clubs meets on Tuesday 4pm to 6pm 13 to 25 years SEND.
